JNI Armor is a HUBZone Certified, Economically Disadvantaged, Woman Owned Small Business that develops transparent armor solutions for military vehicles, commercial requirements, and police ballistic shields. Located in Anaheim, CA, our executive team has 20+ years of experience in the development of leading technologies in the transparent armor industry.

Le Nguyen, CEO

Le Nguyen has over 30 years running successful businesses. The last business, Seafood Palace Restaurant, grew to a sizeable establishment serving large catered events within 2 locations as well as offsite catering. Le left Seafood Palace to slow down from the fast paced restaurant life to support our nation’s defenses. Ms Nguyen came to this country as an immigrant from Laos, and is excited to devote her capabilities to protecting our nations young warfighters – many of whom are her own family.

David Jungk, CTO

Engineering is lead by David Jungk. With skills from GDLS, GKN Aerospace and 20 years experience in armor and transparent armor, Mr. Jungk has the engineering knowledge to lead the technical advances of JNI Armor. Mr. Jungk has developed Armor solutions for multiple vehicle programs, including HMMWV, MRAP, AMPV, FMTV, and advanced solutions for special operations programs. David has also led the development of strategic partnerships with the best in the business.

Kha Tran,
COO

Operations is led by Kha Tran, an accomplished engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in survivability, armor, and manufacturing. Kha has a proven track record in developing advanced survivability solutions at General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and optimizing manufacturing processes at MFG Co. and GKN Aerospace. Most recently, he spent a decade as General Manager of two composite plants, where he oversaw the production of Wind Energy and Automotive composite assemblies. Kha’s deep expertise in both operations and engineering makes him uniquely positioned to support JNI Armor’s continued growth and success.

Vanessa Hong,
VP Business Development

Vanessa Hong has established herself as a leader in technology marketing and company branding. JNI Armor grabbed Ms. Hong from Coastal Pay, a brand that she helped build to be one of the fastest growing small business in San Diego. Her knowledge and capabilities are being adapted to a government-based marketing system. Since her addition, JNI Armor has grown rapidly as a supporter of the DLA, and business to business commercial products. Her role has already brought over $1.1M in distribution sales from the DLA.

Jeff Brannon,
Business Development

Jeff Brannon brings over 27 years of proven sales experience to JNI Armor, specializing in serving the commercial and defense sectors. Throughout his career, Jeff has achieved notable success working with some of the largest fabrication and machine shops in the country, building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse customer needs. Based in the Detroit area, Jeff plays a vital role in supporting JNI Armor's customers across the northern United States. In addition to his regional responsibilities, Jeff is dedicating his expertise to expanding the company’s transparent armor market, driving innovation and growth in this critical area for the future.

Jake Brannon,
Business Development

Jake Brannon joined JNI Armor in 2023, bringing a dynamic background in aerospace, defense fabrication, as well as returnable packaging, to the team. Based in Memphis, TN, Jake plays a key role in supporting the company’s southern U.S. customers while spearheading efforts to expand the customer base across the region. In addition to his domestic contributions, Jake has been instrumental in driving the growth of JNI Armor's international sales, broadening the company’s global reach. His expertise in marketing and sales, coupled with his commitment to customer success, has made him a vital asset to the team and a catalyst for the company’s continued growth.

Anthony Ricci,
Warehouse Manager

Anthony Ricci is a Warehouse Operations leader with over 15 years of experience spanning logistics, warehousing, shipping, customer service, quality assurance, and e-commerce. A life-long resident of Southern California, Anthony has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of start-ups and established companies, contributing his expertise to organizations across multiple industries. In his most recent role at BYFP Inc., Anthony played a pivotal role in driving the company's rapid growth, helping to expand operations from a single location to four locations in just three years. He was instrumental in developing the methodology, building the team, and implementing cutting-edge infrastructure and technology that fueled the long-term success of the business. Currently serving at JNI Armor, Anthony is passionate about delivering an exceptional post-sale and quality experience for clients. He is hands-on in providing the support and teamwork necessary to ensure client satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships. Anthony's commitment to excellence, combined with his collaborative approach, ensures that all clients receive the highest level of service and support throughout their experience.
